MedicineAfrica works in Partnership with the Somaliland Medical Association to provide the only formal postgraduate training to every doctor that graduates in Somaliland.
MedicineAfrica works with the support of the Somaliland Minister of Health. The ministry recognizes the importance of the international capacity building effort whilst at the same time appreciating the empowerment provided by a service like MedicineAfrica.
Hargeisa Group Hospital Psychiatric Ward - Hargeisa Group Hospital 2010 is one of the few healthcare institutions in the country which has a psychiatric service. MedicineAfrica has a programme of tutorials, peer - peer learning and also professional mentoring for medical students and doctors in Somaliland.
